On August 20 2008 Gary Notto (VE3TTO) and Jon Rorke (VA3RQ) of the Escarpment Repeater Association installed a new UHF 4 Bay repeater antenna and hardline on top of the Provincial Emergency Operations Centre in downtown Toronto.

This will be the new home for VE3YYZ (443.050) repeater that will be linked into the ERA Network which supports the Province of Ontario auxiliary communication network. 

The repeater will be on a full backup power system providing coverage during blackouts.
